Under a threatening sky and a smattering of rain drops, the first (annual?) Hub City Turners - Saskatchewan Woodworkers' Guild Year End BBQ was a tasty and (by the size of our fire) a roaring success.
34 members came out to share stories and exchange their plans for the summer
Thank you:
- Tom, Tracy and Randy for manning the BBQ
- Randy for the excellent baked beans.
- Robin and Vic for doing the Costco Run
- Paul for the tomatoes and onions.
- Jim for the blood sugar raising goodies.
- If I missed your name...I apologize!
As with every year end BBQ, we had the ceremonial sacrificing of failed projects.
Projects that possibly started as firewood were carved, turned and though the design may have failed, ended up as they started...consigned to the flames as now fancy firewood.
