We are extremely grateful to Bob Gander for donating this collection of his carvings to support the renovations at Grosvenor Park United. Bob began wood carving in 1984 using diamond willow found along the banks of the river in Saskatoon. Through the Saskatoon Wood Carvers Guild he enjoyed learning techniques from a variety of instructors. More recently he joined the Saskatchewan Wildlife Artists Association and explored carving more realistic animals, birds and fish, and sculpting more abstract and geometric forms.
Just a sample of Bob’s work up for auction.
