Mel Genge has been busy turning trees for our next meeting. The theme for the December meeting is to make a Christmas tree (or a few). Here is an inspiration to get out to your shop and make trees and sawdust.
The hanging Christmas tree ornaments are made from hard maple dyed and finished with gloss clear acrylic.
Tiny Christmas trees made from lacewood, zebra wood, lignum vitae, bubinga and koa.
The second display consists of trees made from dyed Birch and Russian pea tree finished with wipe on poly. A couple of trees are made using an off-set turning technique and finished with coloured pencils and wipe on poly. These are all ready for our Dec . Meeting.
