Jay Scott has been hard at work and sent in some pics for us.
First, a platter I redid.
Maple: ~175mmx40mm
Dyed with non-toxic pigments, sealed with shellac, polished with natural products, oils and waxes.
The original is the red & green, the final the green/blue.




My first hollow form. Maple, 105mm x 55mm, the opening is 23mm. It was sanded to 400 grit, polished with regular and microfine Yorkshire Grit, completed with carnauba and beeswax.
