Todays’ temperature isn’t likely the best for shop work. With running the lathe, dust collector and sanding drill, my shop temp was 27 C when I finished. I found a stack or three Birch Burl Bowl cores in my garden shed, cored in March of 2017. I concluded that they were likely dry. I turned the largest diameter blank (13″). It is finished in Odie Oil and Wax.
It felt good to make some wood curls.
