I have made bowls from a board before as it is very economical on wood. However I used a bandsaw to cut the rings and was never really motivated as it took some extra glueing. A ringmaster tool is available for cutting rings but it is expensive so when I saw a technique on YouTube for cutting rings I just had to try it. I made 14 of these bowls and I am sending some images of the result.
