Steve Penn has been busy turning a bread bowl.
I made a bread bowl for my wife. (She makes it, I eat it.) Used a small round carbide to make the indentations (Garry’s idea). Used the Canada arm bar free hand. Then lots of sanding (Al’s Idea) to smooth things out. Next one will have more indents. Still having trouble with end grain tear out. I think tools are not sharp enough. Carbide seemed to cut better. One nasty catch set the depth of the indents. This idea came about because Garry had made a sourdough bowl.
