It is a pen week with Paul Schroeder and Peter Christensen sending in pictures of their work.
A late addition just came in from Randy Sawchyn. He turned some table legs into a legged vessel.
Here is a picture of a “Dragon” fountain pen I just completed.

Here are 3 pens I made a few days ago. The first is a Cat pen for a friend that has had the beasties for the 40 plus years I have known her. Second is an abbreviated Luxor. I shortened it about 0.300” to eliminate the plastic refill extension that people sometimes loose when they replace them. The third is a Regal in a cast acrylic blank.

I was given these old table legs and decided to see what was under the paint. I believe it is Birch and has what looks like some bird’s eye figure.

The legs on the vessel are made from Atlantic “Genge Ebony”. The sapwood on the piece I have has a rich red colour and the hardwood is dark black almost the colour of leather dye. Finish is shellac.
Randy.
