My son Joel had made a comment to Jen that he needed an Angel (Tree topper). So I turned a Yellow Birch body (bat blank from Mike Hosaluk) and wings from Figured Maple. The body is dyed with Bordeaux aniline die. The single angel is for Joels tree. The other picture is of several turned angels. The bodies are hollowed to go over the top of a tree.
