My wife Marla has been busy working so rather than turning a couple pens for her friends she ask me if I would. Had to agree didn’t I? The pen kit is a Chrome Regal from William Wood-write and no longer available. It can be found in the US under the name Zoe. The blank is polyester resin that Marla got ten years ago. It is a hard/brittle material that can’t be rushed or it chips. After turning it between centres to size with the skew I sanded it with 320, 400 and #0000 steel wool before polishing it on the Beall three wheel buffing system. The upside to the hard resin is that it polishes nicely.
