Spring has definitely arrived at Vic Schapansky’s home. Just look what sprouted after consultation with Bernie Nagel.


Here is a picture of my tulips. Bernie sent me some directions so I thought I would try it. I used four different types of wood but agree with Bernie that maple or a hard wood works best. A couple are spruce, two are Hemlock ( I think), one is cherry and last one Maple. The bottle is Apple wood and the other is a chunk of Birch I think. Came from a pallet. The blue marks are from rust on the nails. The blue tulip is genetically modified.
