Celebrate SWG Wood 2022

May 28, 2022

The Saskatchewan Woodworkers Guild launched their first ‘in person show’ since the pandemic hit. It is on now at the Galleria building at Innovation Place. You can follow the signs from Preston or access Innovation place through the U of S. Enjoy the thrill of looking at over 100 hand made pieces from student work to well seasoned hobbyists.

Quite a number of Hub City Turners also had items in the show. Here is a sample of the work from HCT.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Mel Genge was present at the show to do a demo on making spin tops. Here is a quick summary of Mel’s process. The result is a delight for children of all ages.
